Eddy Khaimovich is an award-winning Israeli bassist, composer, producer, and educator. He received the prestigious Hot House Jazz Magazine Award in the bass category (Best Bassist 2014) and his debut album, featuring Grammy Award winner Roy Hargrove, was awarded a place among “Best Releases of 2008” by the New York City Jazz Record.
Eddy’s virtuosity on acoustic and electric basses, along with his unique musical voice, rich tone, and stylistic versatility, has earned him a place on stages around the world.
He’s performed and recorded in major venues with music greats such as Grammy Award winners Roy Hargrove, Gloria Estefan, Paquito D’Rivera, Fred Hersch, James Moody, and Itzhak Perelman, among many other greats.
Eddy resides in New York City and maintains a busy schedule performing, composing, recording, producing and teaching–locally, nationally and internationally.
